Payment Conditions:
Payment must be made prior to booking. To book into a class you must have pre-purchased sessions or an active membership on your account in order to reserve your place and attend.
Contract agreement payment types are debited on a weekly basis. Ensure you have sufficient funds available on the direct debit date. There is no minimum membership commitment however membership payments will continue until Unified Pilates & Exercise Physiology is notified of the cancellation via email and 4 weeks notice is provided.
Class Packs have various valid periods depending on the class pack you purchase which is listed in the package description at sale.
Cancellation Policy:
Class bookings/appointments will require 8 hours of notice for cancellation of instructor-led classes and 4 hours-notice for on-demand bookings. Failure to cancel in time will result in forfeiting of the class pass or a $10 late-notice/no show fee for unlimited membership types. This fee may be waived at the studio owners discretion as long as they are contacted and informed adequately.
Onboarding:
All first-time users must book a mandatory initial onboarding session during staffed hours prior to the use of the on-demand service.
Freezing Memberships:
Weekly memberships can be frozen for up to 6 weeks a year with notice, and further extensions may be permitted at the studio owners discretion.
Introductory Offers:
Our introductory offer of 5 classes (valid for 14 days) is only available to brand new clients. You can strictly only purchase the introductory offer once. The introductory offer is non-refundable nor transferable and will activate from the date of your first class booked.
Age limits and restrictions:
We require participants to be over the age of 18 when booking and attending classes. Although children will be permitted in the premises and allowed to wait in reception, they are not permitted on or near the equipment. Any children brought to the studio are under their legal guardian’s care and instructors/employees will not accept any responsibility for supervision.
Instructor Discretion:
Owners and/or instructors reserve the right to restrict clients to a particular class type for safety reasons; and owners and/or instructors reserve the right to turn clients away if they do not have the correct medical clearance. The studio owners have the right to cancel or suspend memberships based on reasonable and fair grounds at their own discretion.
Waitlist Policy:
If a class you want to partake in is fully booked please sign up to the waitlist. Should a place become available then you will receive a notification offering you a place in the class. Please refrain from adding yourself to multiple waitlist classes, so all clients have a fair opportunity to get into the class.
Session Policy:
Memberships and sessions (including on-demand services) are not transferrable to another individual and cannot be used by another person. If someone other than the person booked into the class arrives to use the session, they will be asked to create an account and purchase their own sessions or memberships. If a person is found to be sharing their passes or membership, the studio owners hold the right to suspend or cancel any remaining passes or membership held.
Refund Policy:
Refunds are not typically issued on unused group classes or sessions, introduction offers or stock purchases ,unless required by law – special consideration may be applied for validated or evidenced medical reasons of exceptional circumstances. In cases of forced temporary closure of the studios, equivalent extension of expiry dates and open passes will be made. It is the discretion of the studio owners to make any once off exceptions to this, and any other terms and conditions.
Lost Property Policy:
Clients are responsible for their own belongings. Unified Pilates & Exercise Physiology does not accept liability for any items left behind on the premises. Due to limited storage space, we are unable to retain lost property. Any items found will be held for a short period, after which they will be disposed of or donated at our discretion.
Communicable Diseases and Hygiene:
If you have contracted a communicable disease, please ensure you do not come to the studio. This is for the safety and well being of all our clients, staff and members.
Emergency Procedures:
It is solely your responsibility for your own safety and correct use of the reformer and any related equipment. If the studio is unstaffed while participating in an on-demand session, it is up to you to familiarise yourself with the location of the first aid-kit, exit door and emergency contact information. If severe injury/illness occurs while premise is unstaffed, it is your responsibility to contact 000 emergency services to receive necessary care.
Damaged Property:
Clients are responsible for any damage to studio property caused by misuse or negligence. The studio owners reserve the right to recover repair or replacement costs if applicable.
Government Directions:
During periods of Government Mandated restrictions, Disasters, States of Emergency, Pandemic etc, Unified Pilates & Exercise Physiology will follow and adhere to such directives advised during that time. It is our expectation that clients will do the same and onus is with the client to determine if they can travel distance and partake in activities, whilst also ensuring they adhere to such government directives.
Unauthorised Entry:
It is strictly prohibited for another person to use your membership or access the studio (this includes tailgating and unauthorised entry)
